The parental talk...

so, i've been out for about four years, and i don't give a damn about comming back.

my parents moved back to the area where i live and i was asked by my father to help move some stuff.

we had an awkward breakfast after i told him that i was now enrolled at an ivy league school and of course i got that annoying glazzed look and the even more annoying why.

Oh how I wish someone would sue the $ociety, not for a large cash amount, but for ten bucks and a public apology. State that along with the $10 awarded to you, the apology would have to be printed in the watchtower for no less than one full year, be signed by all the GB and be a full page; in addition to this the same letter would have to be sent as a press release to all news media outlets and be printed in all major news papers (on their dime).

I know this will never happen but I have BIG dreams.

Third Generation ... I mean ... First Generation

on a lighter note, several of us were talking about a family that had moved into our congregation and that the wife was a 4th generation dub.. i made the comment that i used to refer to myself as a 3rd generation dub but i can't do that anymore since my life over-lapped with my grandparents so i am really a 1st generation dub.. it was funny to see the strange look on several of their faces.

one even said, "wow, i have to think about that.

" another said, "well, i never really looked at it that way.".

my mother just told me how many people are suffering and how we need armageddon to come very soon.. .

i pointed out that those who are suffering will then be annihilated, and that suffering was therefore probably the better option for them..

I can't stand statements like, “oh the end just needs to come soon, or fast”.

I want to ask, why, are you some kind of sick psycho? Because I don't think slaughtering over seven billion people is such a happifying glorious thing, nor do I think that annihilating everyone who doesn’t praise the almighty WTBT$ is an appropriate solution to ending suffering and injustice, do you?

CONVENTION FALSE INFORMATION - STOP IT BROTHERS!

we are always urged to "make sure of all things", namely, that anything we preach or teach is verifiable and true.

especially when we are referring to the bible.. at our convention, two things which came from the platform made me cringe, especially as one of the statements came from a regular and experienced convention speaker.

first; "over a quarter of a million new brothers and sisters were baptized last year - doesn't this show love on jehovah's part that he is allowing time for such ones to get to know him".

just came across this post, where a disfellowshipped blogger posted the letter from his witness mother in which she cuts off the relationship between them.

although i was the one to slam the door and cut off communication with my viper of a mother, my heart goes out to this guy - it's to their shame that the witnesses allow their religion to do this to family..

i was just thinking of something i read recently, a thread about the district convention talk, that mentioned how 'apostates' are always picking at 'the organization'.

i just had a thought about that.. pick up any copy of the watchtower or awake!

or any other publication the watchtower society publishes, and more than likely, in every single one of them, there will be several statements made against all other christian religions, all religions in general, or the scientific community so far as it conflicts with jehovah's witnesses' doctrines.

We should all know by now that it's perfectly normal for them to pick at things but o ok for anyone else to do it.

I bet if you asked the GB about real truth they'd say, "No, no real truth here, who told you that? We're not interested in real truth, we no speaka truthanese."

My questions to these idiotic posters, well all witlesses, is this,

If jaybooger is protecting his org. and personally keeping it clean, would these people be allowed to wonder freely inside of his "house"? And if jaybooger and his org. really wanted to protect children, and the R&F for that matter, why would it be let go at all if someone like this was discovered in your midst?

What do you have to say about that?
